For more than 20 years, Northside Cardiology, led by Dr. Shahid Malik, has proudly cared for patients in our community. With two convenient office locations and acceptance of all major insurance plans, we make it easier for you to access the cardiovascular care you need. Our team is committed to creating a calm, respectful, and patient-focused environment so you feel comfortable and heard at every visit.

Dr. Malik is board certified in general, nuclear, and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has called the Tampa area home for over 25 years and is deeply invested in the health of the community he serves.

He earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach. Dr. Malik specializes in cardiovascular disease and is affiliated with several Tampa-area hospitals, including Brandon Regional Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Florida Hospital Tampa.
